DO NOT LOSE YOUR SOUL
Let's stop looking in the wrong place, only in
Christ will we find everything we need.
Sometimes we get distracted and
lose track of things that should be a priority in our life. Our own life, our
family and all those around us, should be the priority of life. However, we can
see how people change them for work, the ministry, for gambling, drugs,
alcohol, for their own insecurities and fears, in short, the list is too long
to pretend to state. But, in the face of this difficult situation that many of
us have to deal with, God gives us the only solution, to take up our cross and
follow him, taking the gospel of salvation wherever we are and of course, being
living witnesses to the love of Christ and manifest in each one of us.
“Because whoever wants to save his life, he will
lose it; and whoever loses his life for the sake of me and the gospel, he will
save it "
Mark 8. 35
Giving up our lifestyle is not easy at all.
Denying our character and accepting that we have aptitudes to change is a tough
battle that many of us have already given up for lost. But for God, author and
creator of life itself, he does not give up on us. God Himself faces these
tough situations if we humbly surrender and trust the intimate relationship of
love and peace that we maintain in his Spirit.
"For what will man profit if he wins the
whole world, and loses his soul?"
Mark 8. 36
For no reason should we
stop preaching the Gospel of Christ. Let us preach at all times and places, but
do not neglect what is essential, our own salvation. Let us walk hand in hand
with the Holy Spirit, listen to his advice but above all, obey his commands,
because it is divine wisdom, which gives us the success of being able to reach
the stature of Christ
