TO SERVE ALL
Not having a clear purpose
makes us lose the north.
I KNOW that yesterday's topic of stupor and its effects
on us caused a stir for many using inappropriate words in quotation marks.
However, this reality about our lives, as stupor leads us to say and live
stupid things, is true. In this case and taking the example of the Bible
itself, we see the disciples of Christ, people who have been directly trained
by him, after receiving the revelation of the death and resurrection of the
Master, the only thing they must discuss is: who is the greatest, in rank,
among them? That is to say, the typical adolescent fight of who is the
preferred son arose between them. The same is happening today among those who
claim to defend sound doctrine by criticizing and belittling the service of faithful
individuals to God and the church, putting their own interests first,
regardless of the added value that is given in each preaching, teaching or
advice given.
“But they were silent;
because on the way they had disputed among themselves, who was to be the
greatest. "
Mark 9. 34
As I have already said
in other writings in the kingdom of heaven one plus one is equal to what God
wants. God's justice in no case is human justice. God's thoughts are always
superior to ours. To serve is to give oneself to others and in this way, we are
demonstrating the leadership given by God to each one of us. We lead, yes, and
this will lead to triumphs and defeats. In addition, we will have to bear the
contempt of human beings, but always keep in mind: who was the one who called
us and where did God get us from?
"Then he sat down
and called the twelve and said to them: If anyone wants to be first, he will be
last of all, and the servant of all."
Mark 9. 35
We must be clear that
we are on the path to reach the stature of Christ. We are wounded souls healing
souls. I do not know the prime minister of God, be he a perfect man or woman,
we all fail in some way. Only the grace and justification that we have with
Christ makes it possible that despite our imperfections, we are serving and
helping others. Let us love the church, each of its members, imperfect but
eager to seek God's truth. Let's not be stumbling blocks and make it easier for
others to draw closer to God.
God bless you.
