BE VERY CAREFUL
Doing others with justice is a privilege that is cultivated.
IN the reciprocity process there are factors that
are beyond our control. We are not gold coins to be liked by everyone. However,
there are acts and sayings that we can and should avoid, because with them in
many cases, we harm others, this means that we harm ourselves. In Theology
there is a branch of science that is called: Ecology of Salvation. This
theology deals with the need to restore creation, because in Paradise, it was
affected by the decision of Adam and Eve. Within this unhealthy decision made
in Paradise, there is a part of direct responsibility on our part.
Recently I was watching some documentaries
about the sixth extinction, which is comparable to the fall of a meteor the
size of a car on the face of the earth. The problem is, it is we humans who are
causing this sixth extinction. Yes, we are the problem on earth. Likewise, it
is in our hands to remedy part of the problem we are experiencing.
"Anyone who causes one of these little
ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better if a millstone were tied
around his neck and thrown into the sea."
Mark 9. 42
We are responsible for the physical and
spiritual life of humanity. We can keep looking aside and consider that it is
not our problem, but this systematic lie must be discovered to remedy and be
part of the solution of said problem. Perhaps that is why it is said: Because
the burning desire of creation is to await the manifestation of the children of
God.
“If your hand causes you to fall, cut it off;
It is better for you to enter life one-armed than having two hands go to hell,
to the fire that cannot be extinguished, where their worm does not die, and the
fire never goes out."
Mark 9. 43-44
Today we are directly and jointly responsible
for everything that happens around us: climate change, poverty and global
social inequality, the annihilation of the jungle in favour of crops and
livestock, unsustainable fishing in the seas, plastic pollution globally ...
anyway. If we don't do something physical to prevent it, let's not contribute
to global decline. Let's sow the love of God but also take care of everything
that we have around us. Let us be the light and salt of the earth in the broad
sense of the word.
