LET US BE LIKE CHILDREN
The innocent does not need
to explain.
WHEN we think of children, the first thing that comes
to mind is their childish, innocent world full of fantasies. We also tend to
remember all our lives the fact that our parents will take us in their arms and
lift us up, so much so that, when we can be parents, we love to carry our
children, emulating everything they previously did with us. Let us remember
those walks that we did as children and already agitated, we ran into Daddy's
arms and he finished the journey carrying us, either on the shoulders, on the
arms, on the back or as in my case, my little sister Aleida and I, we got on my
dad's legs and he walked dragging us. Likewise, in the kingdom of God, we must
learn to trust God. We should take the daily opportunity to approach His
presence and unload all our burdens and worries, he will not leave us alone,
much less reject us and in this way, we will be happy, and we will communicate
the message of the kingdom of Christ with more security and freedom.
“And he took a child,
and put him in their midst; and taking him in his arms, he said to them: "
Mark 9. 36
There are many biblical
passages that encourage us to have an innocent life before God, both in the OT
and in the NT. The RAE tells us: innocence as an adjective is to be free of
guilt, also that it does not hurt and that it is not harmful. Therefore, to be
innocent before God is to be free from guilt, not because we are so pure that
we do not sin, but because when we do, we immediately run before his presence
and confess our sins and ask him to help us do, such as was his Son Jesus of
Nazareth. On the other hand, by having the power of his Holy Spirit, acting in
us with the authority given by Christ, we do not harm anyone, in any case,
being guided by the powerful Spirit of God, we give ourselves to others in
service, demonstrating Christ alive in each of our acts.
Whoever welcomes a child like this in my name, he welcomes me; and whoever receives me, he does not receive me but the one whom he sent me.
Mark 9. 37
The procession of our
faith consists of giving and receiving. We have received from Heaven the blessing
of being saved through Jesus Christ. Consequently, we receive Heavenly Father.
In the same way that we have received, and someone brought us closer to Christ,
it is up to us to present Jesus Christ to the whole world ... let us not waste
the opportunity to be innocent before God, to receive the very blessing of the
Father and to share the Gospel of Christ among our relatives, friends and neighbours.
Let us extend the kingdom of Christ.
God bless you.
