LIKE KIDS
To look objectively as Christ did passes through having an innocent mind,
the Mind of Christ.
THERE are many actions that only an infant can do,
such as jumping into the void knowing that his parents are going to receive him
in their arms. I myself do not dare to jump from a plane with a parachute
because of the insecurity that being in a vacuum generates in me, and I do not
like heights, but I do like to ride a plane.
Today for health reasons I have recovered one
of the passions of my youth, riding a bicycle. The truth is that England has
spectacular trails to take advantage of. Within these trails, it never ceases
to amaze me to see the number of children under the age of five with their
parents riding their little bikes. These children are already learning to live
without fear and accepting the challenges that life may present.
The Christian life or with Christ is an
adventure and a lifestyle completely of faith where God tells us: leave your
land and your relatives and we, we have to start the journey without knowing
how far we are going to walk and, without knowing what will be in middle of the
road.
“And they presented children to him to touch;
and the disciples rebuked those who introduced them."
Mark 10. 13
When I read this verse, I bring to mind those
people who by wanting to do more, practically muddy everything. When we come to
the feet of Christ, we want to announce to the world the truth about God and
what he has done for us. Immediately, the super angelic brothers emerge to be
able to hinder those innocents who want to touch the truth of Jesus Christ to
give it to others. We prevent evangelization without realizing it and worst of
all, we trip those who are willing to go voluntarily and obey the voice of God.
“When Jesus saw it, he was indignant, and said
to them: Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for of such is
the kingdom of God."
Mark 10. 14
As much as we have secondary roles, in the
kingdom of Christ, we are all important for its extension. The main role will
always be God's, because he is: "the author and finisher of faith"
and Christ was from the very beginning of creation. Therefore, it is easy to
understand why God is outraged that we do not allow the innocent to use their
own tools for evangelization and the extension of the kingdom of Christ. The
accuser is the adversary, let's not play him. Let us give freedom to people of
good will who are seeking to please God, giving to others what they received
from Jesus Christ.
