WORTHLESS
Only those who have sacrificed something understand the value of what was
given.
WE are Christians and we enjoy unique privileges and
blessings. The problem is that we are not aware of what that eternal freedom
and the life of spiritual prosperity that we have cost. For some theologians
this is what is known as cheap grace. Sadly, cheap grace places us in that
position that we do not live the value of the sacrifice of Jesus of Nazareth on
the Cross of Calvary for all mankind. The fact of not valuing this sacrifice
leads us to neglect and abandon our profession of faith and in other cases,
they make us not pay attention to one of the main tasks that we as children of
God have: world evangelization.
"Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and
the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they
will put him to death and hand him over to the Gentiles."
Mark 10. 33
Forsaking our profession of faith means that
all the human sacrifice that Jesus of Nazareth endured was in vain. That is,
all the pain, loneliness and public mockery that Jesus Christ experienced on
his last day, we flush him down the toilet and drain like someone who flushes
his human waste down the toilet. The precious blood of Christ is powerful and has
great physical and spiritual value, it can raise the dead and make a person be
born again. Let's not miss the opportunity we have in Christ.
“And they will mock him, scourge him, and spit
on him, and kill him; but on the third day he will resurrect him"
Mark 10. 34
Christ is alive. Christ conquered death and
defeated darkness. Let us hold the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross of Calvary
in high esteem as of incalculable value. We will not adulterate our lives with
modern religious practices or allow discouragement to rob us of the joy of
living the victorious life that Jesus Christ conquered for us there on the
Cross. Let's go out into the world and show Jesus Christ alive and all humanity
will know that God is real and wants to remain in intimate communion with all living
beings.
