YOU DO NOT KNOW...
When we stop learning we certainly begin to die.
YOUNG PEOPLE always pretend to be right. Apparently, they, in front of an adult, will
declare that although we have experience, their way of observing life is very
different. Regarding this perception, we can agree with them, the problem
arises when they are totally wrong and because they do not want to admit their
mistake, they dare to tell lies and continue with their stubbornness in quotes.
In the same way we are going to find that same attitude with those who do not
wish to recognize God, the work of Jesus of Nazareth on the Cross of Calvary
and of course, they will not recognize the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in
each one of us. But these truths are what we must teach when we present Christ
and his kingdom of righteousness and power. Therefore, it is important that we
understand that we have the authority given by Jesus Christ over all dominion
and authority: Look, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and
scorpions, and on all the power of the enemy, and nothing will harm you.
"Then they argued among themselves,
saying: If we say, from heaven, he will say: Why, then, did you not believe
him?"
Mark 11. 31
Those of us who have learned to have
philosophical conversations with sceptics, laity, atheists, etc. We really like
to see the face of astonishment when we stop philosophizing and show that God
is alive, which we do through a testimony and, if they allow us to pray at that
time, they will be able to manifest the power of the Holy Spirit acting in
their lives. After all, the one in charge of convincing is the Spirit of God.
"What if we say, of men ...? But they
feared the people, for they all had John as a true prophet. So, answering, they
said to Jesus: We do not know. Then answering Jesus, he said to them: Neither
do I tell you by what authority I do these things."
Mark 11. 31-32
When a sceptic is amazed, what he really
manifests is doubt. But with love, we must present them to God, so that he
heals the wounds that have bound them. As Christians, we must show God for what
he is: love, grace, mercy, justice, justification. God is in constant search of
having a relationship with the human being and he demonstrated it by sending
his Son Jesus of Nazareth to die for each one of us on the Cross of Calvary.
Now we can recognize Jesus Christ and lead a life according to the will of
Heavenly Father, let us not miss this opportunity.
