A NECESSARY DISASTER
What is the use of our ears if we do not want to listen?
IF I had to qualify human errors, I would consider idolatry the worst of them. When we properly understand the definition of idolatry, we find: The biblical meaning of idolatry refers in biblical terms to the worship of a God who is false or who is replacing the one who is true. This term also means that someone may be worshiping foreign divinities, or artificial creations instead of the true creator. So, I am an idolater when I convert the image or essence of God to my image or desire without taking into account who he really is. For example people who consider that God should act in a specific way and if he does not get angry with him, they are really idolaters. Because they really want God to do what their hearts dictate, even if they are good deeds. That God's plans go out of the expected health or economic conventions, causes human beings to become that "god" to their liking, desire or whim to do their own thing, thus becoming idolaters.

It may be that God allows people to experience tough situations as in the case of Job. In other cases, we will see that the adversary asks us to shake us and make us fall and thus lose our faith in God. But, be that as it may, when the heart of the human being is pruned hard as a rock and does not want to recognise what God says by the advice, nor does it accept what the written prophecies say, then it is there, it is that precise moment when, something It has to be torn in our lives so that we recognise our need for God and the power of the Kingdom of God, therefore through experimentation we will listen to what God tells us. In this case, the veil was torn from top to bottom, but on a personal level: what do we need him to break in our lives to recognise that only God is sufficient and necessary for us?

Two portentous events happened when Jesus of Nazareth died:
1- darkness covered the atmosphere globally.
2- the veil that separated the holy place from the most holy place, was torn from top to bottom.
This was lived and experienced by the Roman centurion. But he was no further than the reality that all of us live today. We need something to break in us to come out of the deep darkness and recognise that Jesus of Nazareth is the authentic Son of God. He died for each one of us to give us the eternal life that he promised us and that he is already at the disposal of all those who wish to recognise his lordship and majesty.
