A DARK HEART

The eyes are the window of the soul, the fruits show what we have.

AT certain times it will be easy to hide our inner feelings and desires. In others, it will be impossible, for example: when I am frustrated and irritated, my features immediately change, I am left without responding and obviously I become aggressive due to the incapacity or impotence of the moment. If this happens to me, a person of faith who allows the Holy Spirit to rule in his life, what could we be expecting from those people who live far from God? Something that should characterise us is that people can see Christ in us. Either his light shines through us or our actions evidence the Holy Spirit instructing or guiding us.

"BECAUSE THE INVISIBLE THINGS OF HIM, HIS ETERNAL POWER AND DEITY, BECOME CLEARLY VISIBLE FROM THE CREATION OF THE WORLD, BEING UNDERSTOOD THROUGH THINGS DONE, SO THEY HAVE NO EXCUSE."

Romans 1. 20

Jesus Christ said: “No good tree bears bad fruit; neither does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognised by its own fruit. Figs are not picked from thorns, and grapes are not harvested from brambles. He who is good, of the goodness that he treasures in his heart produces good; But he who is evil produces evil out of his wickedness, because the mouth speaks of what is abundant in the heart. We cannot hide our whole life who we are, or who we really are. At some point everything will come to light.

"FOR HAVING KNOWN GOD, THEY DID NOT GLORIFY HIM AS GOD, NOR THANK HIM, BUT THEY WERE ENCOURAGED IN THEIR REASONS of him, AND THEIR FOOLISH HEART WAS UNDERSTOOD."

Romans 1. 21

The Apostle Paul understood that the absence of God's presence in the life of a human being causes a darkened heart. From this reality, we can understand what is happening around us. Now we see the bleak horizon that is engulfing our society. Are we going to continue to allow our family and friends to remain lost in the midst of a life outside of God's love?
