WE ARE THE BEST EXAMPLE

Let us not look at others, we are the ones who will do it.

WE are the only and perhaps the last hope for a decadent world that, in turn, is screaming for help. Although we do not want to recognise it, we are those carriers of the light of Christ which must shine in the midst of the dense gloom that plagues this society. Have we ever wondered why we are so persecuted? Or why does the world always have their eyes on everything we say and do?

"YOU, SO, WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING ANOTHER, DON'T YOU TEACH YOURSELF? YOU WHO PREACH THAT IT HAS NOT TO BE HURTAR, HURTAS? YOU SAY THAT YOU SHOULD NOT ADULTERATE, ARE YOU ADULTERING? YOU WHO ABOMINATE IDOLS, DO YOU COMMIT SACRILEGE?”

Romans 2. 21-22

The Gospel of Christ asks us to behave in a specific way: by being of integrity. That is, what we say is what we do. We should not say that God loves humanity and we indulge in hating our neighbours because they park very close to our car. Another clear example could be: we seek the salvation of humanity, but before a beggar we despise him and do not observe Christ in him.

“YOU WHO BOAST ABOUT THE LAW, DO YOU DISHONOUR GOD BY BREACH OF THE LAW? FOR AS IT IS WRITTEN, THE NAME OF GOD IS BLASPHEMED AMONG THE GENTILES BECAUSE OF YOU.”

Romans 2. 23-24

"The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you." Having the ability to calculate the dimension of this sentence is a challenge that should lead us to be whole people before God and before human beings. We are the best example for this humanity. We are the best testimony that Christ is alive in us. We are the best example, so we must be as Christ was in his earthly ministry.
