CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL- WHAT DO YOU SAY

CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

WHAT DO YOU SAY

Holiness is highly tied to integrity.

IT is incredible to discover that while Christ wants to free us from chains and ties, human beings look for a way to tie ourselves to yokes, chains and other washers that anchor us to traditions that have nothing to do with God or at least with design. that he considered for each of us. I have been able to see how Christianity goes beyond having tattoos, if you wear makeup or dress in a specific way. All this is a mere lifestyle and has to do with the cultures that we have. What can we consider of the Samoan churches where men wear skirts? And what consideration are we going to have with the Native Hawaiian churches that their members are fully tattooed with tribal symbols? Could it be that the Holy Spirit is not manifested in them or is salvation not available to them?

“FOR IN TRULY THE CIRCUMCISION TAKES ADVANTAGE, IF YOU KEEP THE LAW; BUT IF YOU ARE OFFENDER OF THE LAW, YOUR CIRCUMCISION BECOMES UNCIRCUMCISION.”

Romans 2. 19

The Gospel of Christ, the first thing that makes our mind free. For this reason, we began to live a romanticism with him, which leads us to want to show that we died for God in the same way that Jesus Christ did for each one of us. It is precisely at that moment, when we are so vulnerable, that we will be subjected to religiosity which will tell us what we should do, eat, dress, live, it will even tell us how we should breathe if we want to be true Christians. Thus, the liberation of Christ through his sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, will be tarnished and even worthless by our own demands for the new Christians.

"IF, THEREFORE, THE UNCIRCUMCISION WILL KEEP THE ORDINANCES OF THE LAW, WILL NOT HIS UNCIRCUMCISION BE TAKEN AS A CIRCUMCISION?"

Romans 2. 20

Today we can be free from these ties. Today we can free others from the chains that we have imposed on them. Today we can show that Christ rules our minds through his Holy Spirit. The expression: “what do you say to me” is widely used in Spain to appeal to the folly of a human demand, stating that whoever is uttering it has no authority to say it because his actions do not support it. Let us be of integrity, that, to be Saints, we will have all eternity.
