Why run if you don't want to win?

AS human beings we always want to be successful and winning people, this type of aptitude is incorporated in our DNA, because that is, a divine gift. The problem for each of us is that we forget to give God the glory. For he, God, is the one who has provided us with everything and gives us the strength and firmness to reach each of our goals and allows us to achieve it. We can extrapolate this same example to the religious life that some Christians live; They consider that they have something different in their lives that allows them to achieve a certain way of glorifying themselves, but that is, something very outside of Christian reality.

"WHAT THEN, LET US SAY ABRAHAM, OUR FATHER, ACCORDING TO THE FLESH?"

Romans 4: 1

The Gospel of Christ places us exactly where we need to be. That is to say, when we buy the Gospel of Christ, we remember from which hole God took us: drugs, alcohol, drug addiction, fights, disputes, in short ... each one of us knows the freedom that God gave us. For this reason, the Apostle when writing his Gospel, clearly emphasised that, despite all that he was and left us, Abraham did absolutely nothing by himself, but rather, it was God who gave him everything that he lived and experienced that in quotation marks the success that we all long for; The big difference is that Abraham knew how to give God the glory and recognised that God had given him everything.

"BECAUSE IF ABRAHAM WAS JUSTIFIED BY THE WORKS, HE HAS WHAT TO GLORY, BUT NOT TO GOD"

Romans 4: 2

Because at the end of the day, everything we do is for him and for him, that is, our lives and the consequences of all our actions and decisions are very important to God. God wants our happiness and prosperity above all else and for that reason, he will support us, just what, the part that will always correspond to us in an imperative way is, to recognise that everything was by the grace, love and mercy of God. Therefore, the glory will always be God's.
