OUR NEW IDENTITY

After praying what?

BEING a Christian person is achieved with a simple prayer of acceptance where we declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord of Creation. But leading the lifestyle that connects us to the Mind of Christ is a different process. Being a Christian therefore implies leaving the old lifestyle that bound us to lead a life separated from God. To be a Christian is to die every day to our natural desires to understand that we voluntarily renounce them and assume our new identity just as Jesus of Nazareth did. Thanks to Jesus Christ, we have been freed from sin and now we use that freedom to bring divine justice to all humanity.

“DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT IF YOU SUBMIT YOURSELVES TO SOMEONE AS SLAVES TO OBEY HIM, YOU ARE SLAVES TO THE ONE YOU OBEY, WHETHER OF SIN UNTO DEATH, OR OF OBEDIENCE UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS?”

Romans 6.16

The Gospel of Christ allows us to willingly ally them to God. We are no longer enslaved to the old mindset that binds us to frustration, anger, alcohol, drugs, depression, despair, fear, phobias, fears, eating disorders, to all kinds of sexual immorality and a very long etc that the only thing it achieves is to distance us from God and does not produce true happiness, and fullness in our lives.

“BUT THANK GOD, THAT ALTHOUGH YOU WERE SLAVES OF SIN, YOU HAVE OBEYED FROM THE HEART THAT FORM OF DOCTRINE TO WHICH YOU WERE DELIVERED; AND FREED FROM SIN, YOU CAME TO BE SERVANTS OF JUSTICE.”

Romans 6.17-18

So, our new identities tell us that we are servants of justice in the hands of God. Therefore, both the dream, purpose and divine destiny in our lives revolve around our true and new identity: "we are servants of divine justice”
