CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL
WITHOUT ABUSE
With each sin of ours we nailed Jesus to the Cross again.
YOU can not shake hands because they take your whole arm. This famous Latin saying speaks of the abuse and use that we make of the trust that is offered to us or that we give. Learning to understand where the limit is is not easy. In the same way, in the Christian life we fail to understand where the limit of Christ's grace and justification is. From there, we could say that so many dogmatic disagreements come, which in turn, have tipped the balance towards the extreme religiosity that exists within some denominations.
“WHAT, THEN, SHALL WE SAY? SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN THAT GRACE MAY ABOUND?”
Romans 6.1
The Gospel of Christ offers us the freedom to live without sin. And if at some point we make a mistake or miss the mark, God has given us grace and justification. That is, Jesus of Nazareth was tempted in everything, in addition he went through all kinds of calamities just as we can live it. So, if Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God, in his earthly time could live without making mistakes, why can not we?
"NO WAY. FOR THOSE WHO HAVE DIED TO SIN, HOW WILL WE STILL LIVE IN IT?"
Romans 6.2
We no longer have any excuse to continue sinning, much less abusing grace and divine justification. As I said in the phrase: "With each sin of ours we nailed Jesus to the Cross again." In other words, we destroy the saving action of Christ every time we make mistakes. Therefore, we keep struggling to live apart from God and hold ourselves in a firm and productive relationship with Heavenly Father.
God bless you.
