Apart from God it is impossible to have peace.

BEING a Christian directly implies being set apart for God. Hence, in the circle of Christianity, the word holiness is used very carefully to imply that need to be separated for God. But that holiness at no time wants to mention the possibility of walking a foot above other people, wearing a special dress or speaking in a false way. In any case, it means the opposite, understanding that Jesus of Nazareth set himself apart or sanctified himself for God. For this reason, he lived a lifestyle committed to dignifying the human being, but at the same time, a lifestyle life that glorifies the Holy Name of the Heavenly Father.

“I SPEAK AS A HUMAN, BECAUSE OF YOUR HUMAN WEAKNESS; THAT JUST AS FOR INIQUITY YOU PRESENT YOUR MEMBERS TO SERVE UNCLEANNESS AND INIQUITY, SO NOW FOR SANCTIFICATION PRESENT YOUR MEMBERS TO SERVE RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

Romans 6.19

When the Gospel of Christ becomes a reality in our lives, we stop lending our own bodies to evil and assume that for now this flesh, although weak, is presented to glorify God with each of our acts. Now we know that our new identity is that we are servants of justice, to bring the good news of salvation to all mankind.

Romans 6.20

I do not pretend to teach holiness as a process of maximum demand impossible to fulfil. In any case, I want to remember what the Word of God says: You have not passed through any trial that is not humanly bearable. And you can trust in God that he will not let you suffer trials that are harder than you can bear. On the contrary, when the test comes, God will also give you the way out of it, so that you can endure it. If God wants us to be set apart for him, it will be possible because God will not demand of us what we cannot do.
