ACCORDING TO HIS SPIRIT

Why do we make mistakes if we have such clear instructions?

THIS  week at the hands of Dr. Lucas Leys, I have learned many things. One of them was to give meaning to the phrase: “to sin is to miss the target”. And to give that supposed meaning, the question that remains is: what target are we missing? The ambiguity of the possible answers would give multiple options, but the most sensible and practical is: "we are wrong to seek and follow the will of God." Jesus of Nazareth taught us: But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. If we could heed this Bible verse, we probably wouldn't go wrong in seeking and following God's will. To do this, we must live according to the Spirit of him.

“FOR WHAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE LAW, BECAUSE IT WAS WEAK THROUGH THE FLESH, GOD, SENDING HIS SON IN THE LIKENESS OF SIN FLESH AND BECAUSE OF SIN, CONDEMNED SIN IN THE FLESH; SO THAT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW MAY BE FULFILLED IN US, WHO DO NOT WALK ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, BUT ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT.”

Romans 8.3-4

The Gospel of Christ comes to every human being who accepts it to give him life and life in abundance. But, as everything that we do not know how to use is wasted, we will have to learn how to live according to his Holy Spirit. And the best way to do it is, through the Mind of Christ: Let there be, then, in you this feeling that there was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider being equal to God as something to to cling, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; and being in the condition of a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, and death on a cross.

“FOR THOSE WHO ARE OF THE FLESH THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF THE FLESH; BUT THEY THAT ARE OF THE SPIRIT, IN THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT.”

Romans 8.5

So, to live according to his Spirit is to die each day to our own desires and live according to the will of God, preaching Christ and extending the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, it will be fulfilled: Answering Jesus, he said to them: Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, saying: I am the Christ; and many will be deceived. And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars; take care that you are not disturbed, because it is necessary for all this to happen; but it's not the end yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in different places. And all of this will be the beginning of pains. Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. Many will stumble then, and will betray one another, and will hate one another. And many false prophets will arise, and will deceive many; and because wickedness has multiplied, the love of many will grow cold. But he who perseveres to the end, this one will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world, for a testimony to all nations; And then the end will come.
