DECIDE

It is in our hands, no one should decide for us.

WE ARE used to blaming others. For example, in wars, the bad guys are the ones who lose, when in reality, the fault lies with both parties. In the recent case against Boing, in the Jakarta accident, the parties involved, the first thing they did was to pretend that the Leon airline was directly responsible. Also, they dared to speak against the pilot of the JT610. Not to make this parable any longer, the final resolution was that, instead of investing in upgrading components, Boeing improperly recycled technology, hiding from companies the need to carry out relevant training for its new MAX. In the same way, each one of us, we tend to blame everyone instead of assuming our own responsibilities, some even, as in the case of Adam and Eve, will blame God for the bad circumstances: And The man answered: The woman whom you gave me as a companion gave me from the tree, and I ate. Then Jehovah God said to the woman: What is this that you have done? And the woman said: The serpent deceived me, and I ate. This is when we can think and reflect: Who created the snake?

“FOR TO MIND THE FLESH IS DEATH, BUT TO MIND THE SPIRIT IS LIFE AND PEACE.”

Romans 8.6

The Gospel of Christ, by becoming a reality in our lives, makes us aware that we are sinners. In this way, we understand that everything we have done has been our responsibility, whether our actions are good or bad. Let us think, in the case of a marriage, the responsibility of maintaining a good relationship is totally shared, that is, it is 100% the responsibility of both the man and the woman. Therefore, any problem before a divorce, the two are 100% guilty.

“WHEREAS THE DESIGNS OF THE FLESH ARE ENEMY AGAINST GOD; FOR THEY ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE LAW OF GOD, NOR CAN THEY; AND THOSE WHO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE FLESH CANNOT PLEASE GOD.”

Romans 8.7-8

So, we must decide: are we committed to God or not? Are we willing to acknowledge our irresponsibility and repent? Are we going to prioritise following God's will or are we going to continue to indulge in capricious tastes in our lives? Are we going to allow his Holy Spirit to properly guide us in our lives?
