ANOTHER STUMBLING STONE

                  Who wants an easy life, I do not recommend Christianity.

FOR each of us, our lives are difficult. If we add to that, that everyone, especially some human beings, observes you to see what you are doing or they measure you with a very precise ruler to know if you are failing or not, it is very difficult to follow life. Another stumbling block is about some teachings of Jesus Christ that are really hard to follow. For example, I, in my work, trying to maintain a good reputation sometimes becomes very difficult for me, because certain situations arise in which I cannot keep my peace, and added to this, my insecurities make me lose my sanity; the lack of a complete understanding of English is another element that is added to the equation, so I ca not take it anymore and my long-suffering is running out. Poor of all those who are around me...

"WHY? BECAUSE THEY WENT AFTER IT NOT BY FAITH, BUT AS BY WORKS OF THE LAW, FOR THEY STUMBLED AT THE STONE OF STUMBLING.”

Romans 9.32

Although we accept the Gospel of Christ, we must recognise that progressively, we will leave behind those bad habits, schemes and structures that condition us and we will fight to be good witnesses of Christ, to try to bear witness to all those who are watching us. How much more will that testimony mean to us, if we try to imitate our Master, Jesus Christ, in everything.

“AS IT IS WRITTEN: BEHOLD, I PUT IN ZION A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF FALLING; AND HE THAT BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED."

Romans 9.33

Now, Jesus Christ is not ashamed of us. For that, He himself, leaving his divine nature, became a man to understand our mentality and thus advocate for each one of us when we fail the Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is aware of how difficult it is to follow his Gospel. Therefore, in the Bible we find: Then Jesus said to his disciples: If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me. We see that this regulation, this is a continuous action, does not imply that said verb has finished. So, we can conclude that the other stumbling block that is to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, is a daily and continuous work in our lives.
