CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL
I AM OBSTINATE
It is part of my DNA, but it should not control me.
I KNOW clearly that all the decisions I have made up to today have made me the person I am. These types of decisions have been some good and others that honestly, I am not proud of, therefore, I regret having made them. I know that I am an entrepreneur as part of a divine gift. However, not knowing what project to carry out or quite the opposite, not doing it, has made it take more than 3 years without doing a single undertaking. One of the biggest challenges I had was trying to make arepas (Colombian corn tortillas) in Spain and finding not only a natural market there, but also introducing this typical product in the midst of such an exclusive food market suche is Spanish. Possibly, my mistake was doing a Colombian business in Spain, instead of having a Spanish business that would allow me to introduce the arepas. However, I have to confess that thanks to my obstinacy, for almost 4 years, I helped maintain the family economy and although unfortunately I was not able to consolidate the company, I gained a lot of experience.
“BUT YOU WILL TELL ME: WHY, THEN, DOES IT BLAME YOU? FOR WHO HAS RESISTED HIS WILL?”
Romans 9.19
This is where the issue in question comes in, is it because of our obstinacy that we are going to continue losing the blessing and joy of salvation? The Good News of Salvation, that is, the Gospel of Christ, comes into our lives to show us the sovereignty, mercy and love that God feels for all human beings. So, let us leave stubbornness for other matters in life, or rather, let us take stubbornness to seek God as hard as we can.
“BUT BEFORE, OH MAN, WHO ARE YOU, THAT YOU ALTERQUES WITH GOD? WILL THE CLAY VESSEL SAY TO THE ONE WHO FORMED IT: WHY HAVE YOU MADE ME LIKE THIS?"
Romans 9.20
Unfortunately, I have known people who are willing to fight with God and even insult him, recriminate him and argue with him as if God were to blame for his terrible decisions. God is love and he always wants the best for each of us. Let us stop fighting with God, He does not need us, we do depend and need one hundred percent of him. Let us therefore take advantage of the opportunity we have today to approach the altar of God, let us be obstinate in our intimate relationship with him and let us make the Gospel of Christ known to all humanity.
God bless you.
