THE MERCY OF GOD

Sometimes it is incomprehensible, but without it, it is impossible to be saved.

IF they could see who I really am, they would know that it is Jesus Christ acting in my life. Everything I do is entirely by God's mercy. I am a sinner, sorry, but I am still a great sinner. My great daily struggle is not very different from what any reader of this devotional is experiencing. I have learned to tell Ani, “love, I am in a bad temper”, so as not to mess her up any more. I am still in the gap of controlling myself nutritionally and not putting my trust in despair, nor in depression, which makes me eat excessively and unnecessarily. On many occasions, I spend more than I earn and turn my face away from helping a person in need. This and much more, make me worthy of being away from the presence of God. However, God is pleased to use me and that I, despite my wickedness, continue to transmit the kingdom of heaven to more than fifty countries, bringing these messages of hope to thousands of souls who also need God's love.

"BECAUSE THE SCRIPTURE SAYS TO PHARAOH: FOR THIS VERY I HAVE RAISED YOU UP, TO SHOW MY POWER IN YOU, AND SO THAT MY NAME MAY BE PRONOUNCED THROUGHOUT THE EARTH."

Romans 9.17

The Gospel of Christ tells us repeatedly about God's mercy towards humanity. Despite this, many churches turn a deaf ear to this great truth, making laws and confessions of faith that distance them from humanity that is so in need of God's mercy and thus approach the God of love and reconcile the fallen relationship we have with him, it becomes an almost impossible task.

“SO THAT ON WHOM HE WANTS, HE HAS MERCY, AND WHOM HE WANTS TO HARDEN, HE HARDENED.”

Romans 9.18

We should take off the bandages that cover us and find out the truth. For example, God called Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, and Pharaoh my sons. God used them for the benefit of his people and with it, he blessed many. Finally, let us remember that God allowed Rahad, who practiced prostitution, to be the grandmother of Jesus of Nazareth and was counted as one of the heroes of the faith by the Apostle Paul.

Let us allow the Gospel of Christ to reach every human being, regardless of the condition in which he finds himself today. The final result will depend on the sovereignty and mercy of God.
