THEY WILL NOT TAKE IT FROM US

If God give it to me, no human being will take it from me.

CAN you imagine the number of times what they have tried to discontinue for being the way I am? I cannot count the times that I have been rejected and suggested that the ministry that God gave me is simply an obsession of mine, that God has not called me and much less that I am a pastor, preacher, writer or evangelist. But trying to fight God is definitely a losing battle. This fight against God is in both directions, that is, the fact of self-considering that God has not called us, as well as pretending to say that God has not called a human being according to his will, it is impossible to sustain this controversy. This fact is not new, the primitive church had to live it; the apostles were accused of false believers, but God used a faithful man to solve the situation: Then Gamaliel, a Pharisee who was a doctor of the law and whom all the people respected, stood up before the council and ordered them to take out by a moment to the apostles; then he said, "Men of Israel, think carefully about what you are going to do with these men." That is why I tell you now: Forget these men. Let them. Because if what they do is of a human nature, it will vanish; but if it belongs to God, they will not be able to destroy it. Do not let it be that you find yourself fighting against God!

“FOR IRREVOCABLE ARE THE GIFTS AND THE CALLING OF GOD.”

Romans 11. 29

There are general calls from God and specific calls for all human beings. Once the Gospel of Christ is manifested in the life of the one who has accepted it, those general calls must be fulfilled, such as this: Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, and baptise them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Yes, the Great Commission is a general call for all Christians. On the other hand, let us see what the other book says, the Apostle Paul: And he himself appointed some, apostles; to others, prophets; to others, evangelists; to others, pastors and teachers, in order to perfect the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man , to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

"FOR AS YOU ALSO IN ANOTHER TIME WERE DISOBEDIENT TO GOD, BUT NOW HAVE OBTAINED MERCY THROUGH THEIR DISOBEDIENCE, SO THESE ALSO HAVE NOW BEEN DISOBEDIENT, SO THAT THROUGH THE MERCY GRANTED TO YOU, THEY ALSO OBTAIN MERCY."

Romans 11. 30-31

So, whether we have a general call or a specific one, this was given by God and no one has the right to pretend to take it away from us, much less underestimate what God has given us. Let us have courage to defend the gifts, talents and callings with which God has blessed us. Because, extending the kingdom of Christ, is the greatest blessing that we are going to obtain in our lives, because after that, we honor the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross of Calvary for all humanity.
