WHY A GOOD TESTIMONY?

How can there be so many divisions in the Church of Christ?

ON one occasion I had the opportunity to talk to a very skeptical person with the Church. Interestingly, this friend of mine, is very believer in God, but the disagreements between what is preached and what is practiced, the internal divisions of cults, dogmas and doctrines, added to the religiosity that she personally lived within the ecclesiastical bosom, the They led to becoming a woman who does not attend any congregation or church. If today, she could talk with those who gave a bad testimony of faith applied to my friend, I would tell them how bad they are doing. Not only because of what she is living, but, because Jesus Christ died throughout humanity, but that because of their evil testimony, many people today are far from living the Gospel of Christ and the benefits of belonging to her Church.

"THE ONE WHO SERVES CHRIST IN THIS WAY, PLEASES GOD AND IS APPROVED BY HIS FELLOW MEN."

Romans 14.18

Let us pray together: Oh eternal God, I need your grace, love and mercy, to give my brothers the same treatment you give me. Help me because I am weak in faith and I want to show that Christ is alive in me.

Unfortunately, this type of evil testimony is causing the churches to be empty. For example, here in Europe, the buildings that were temples yesterday, today are discos such as in Leeds, restaurants such as in the Netherlands, art rooms or student apartments, as I have lived in the Canden Town, in the city of London . Now, the human being has not moved away from faith and spiritual life. We see that witchcraft, sorcery and follow oriental religions, today is fashionable. This trend clearly demonstrates that humanity seeks the good of their soul, and on the other hand, it should bring us to Christians the reflection on our good or bad testimony we are giving. So that all humanity understands and understands that the only solution for existential problems is, faith and belief in God.

 

 

"THEREFORE, LET US STRIVE TO PROMOTE EVERYTHING THAT LEADS TO PEACE AND MUTUAL BUILDING."

Let us pray together: Jesus Christ, with all my heart I ask you, let me be a good testimony for the whole society that surrounds me. I want to be your faithful reflection and that people read your gospel in me.

The Gospel of Christ is the greatest and exclusive source of inspiration to give others and, in this way, they come to live the joy of salvation. I am one of those who preach that salvation is not lost, but faith diminishes, the desire to serve is lost and long for sharing through a good testimony, it is neglected, abandoned and unprotected. Let us fight with all our strength to give the best example of life we ​​can, so much so what, many reach the feet of Christ.
