THE CHURCH AT HOME

God will use all platforms to give us teachings.

THE entire planet is still suffering from the consequences of the global COVID pandemic. Many of these collateral damages were death of people, destruction of employment and physical sequels in some affected by this disease. There were also good sides to this terrible global situation: the environment was able to breathe, it was shown that we can reverse climate change and above all, that the Church of Christ is not the 4 walls of a temple. The Church of Christ is made up of living and imperfect people who only seek to please God. I had the opportunity to do Church and many churches knew how to measure up for their congregations. Many churches understood the divine message. Many Churches returned to their origins. Many churches started to have a church at home.

Romans 16.5

Let us pray together: God of glory and majesty, your sovereignty for us is incomprehensible. However, you allowed the global pandemic to be an oxygen ball for your Church. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your people and to adore your Holy and Precious Presence.

The Apostle Paul founded many churches. But, he was very clear about the difference between church and church. For this reason, he caused the Church of Jesus Christ to make a church in the houses of the believers themselves. This is something worth imitating, especially when we are living in a society fed up with religiosity and which does what, human beings, do not want to know anything about congregations, much less about temples and the ecclesiastical system that governs them. I experienced this in the pandemic, thanks to telecommunications platforms, we managed to congregate as the Church of Christ, regardless of nationality, race, economic availability and why not, even creed; because this was also a perfect way to evangelise and bring the Faith of Christ to many.

Romans 16.6

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, how good it is to know that you have not lost control of human history. Help me to be an authentic servant of Christ and to give my life as an example for others.

It is good that we declare: the "fat" of the pandemic issue has already passed. But, let's remember all the time of quarantine and how God used it to show us that he knows what he is sovereign for. I encourage you to return to this old rudiment of Faith, to make Church at home and thus bring more people to the feet of Christ. Perhaps, that is the best evangelistic method, to do Church at home, so that many reach the altar of God's justice.
