Once filled with it, we can never overcome this experience.

I STILL remember my first experience with the Holy Spirit working in me. It was a cold afternoon in the city of Manizales, I was in the house of the Canadian missionary Petterson. We had met to spiritually discuss a matter that I had pending regarding my sexual identity. I wasn't very used to praying, but that afternoon I did it for about three hours. Everything was respectful and precious. At one point in the prayer, I began to feel a heat that burned from head to toe. That heat ran through my body and in that I understood that it was a consuming fire that was healing the parts of my body-soul that needed to be healed. That heat was caused by the Holy Spirit acting in my life. And although there I did not relate it to a biblical scene, today I understand that that experience was what the disciples of Christ had to live when they were filled with the Holy Spirit.

"AND TONGUES AS OF FIRE APPEARED TO THEM, WHICH WERE DIVIDED, AND ONE SITTING ON EACH ONE OF THEM."

Acts 2.3

Let us pray together: O eternal God, your mercy has reached me and has given me the privilege of being your son with full rights. Proof of this, is the action of your Holy Spirit in my life, for this God, I praise, exalt and bless you, Heavenly Father!

When the Holy Spirit manifests in the human being, that moment is very difficult to forget. For example, when I have the opportunity to speak in strange or angelic languages, I usually do it at home, to follow the apostolic advice that suggests that if there is no translator, don't speak, like this and in this way I usually remember the first time it happened to me. And what happened at that precise moment? Surely, in long-term memory, this pattern of flames of fire on the heads of the disciples would never be erased. Other ways of manifesting the filling of the Holy Spirit can be dreams, visions, prophetic words, the revelation of the Word of God hidden in the Bible, and so on, a very long list that I could add.

“AND THEY WERE ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND BEGAN TO SPEAK IN OTHER TONGUES, AS THE SPIRIT CAUSED THEM TO SPEAK.”

Acts 2.4

Let us pray together: Beloved Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I beg you, follow me filling me with you through your Holy Spirit. I depend exclusively on you and your love, do not forsake me, do not allow me to sin against you, and do not keep your Holy Spirit from my life.

The divine representation through the Holy Spirit for me is very special. I love the three divine figures that we have, that is, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. However, the Holy Spirit occupies a special place in my heart, because He is the representation of the Father and the Son in my heart through the Mind of Christ acting in me. For this reason, Luck the author of the book of Acts declared: they began to speak (in this case we can extrapolate it with the expression act) as the Spirit made them speak. What we must keep in mind is that only if we are willing to be ready and prepared for the Holy Spirit to act in us, He will.
