NOT KNOWING WHAT TO THINK

A good deed speaks more than a thousand words.

THE truth is that we have an innumerable multitude of witnesses around us. These witnesses range from angels to all human beings around us. Therefore, it is essential that everything we do, we do for God. In Colombia, we use the word “excellence” for almost everything. For this reason, the real value of the word "excellence" has been distorted. As we find in the RAE,  (Spanish dictionary) is Superior quality or goodness that makes something worthy of singular appreciation and esteem. Treatment of respect and courtesy gave to some people for their dignity or employment. From this definition, we must then consider that everything we do, we are going to do with excellence, because we do it first for God. But, in turn, what we do, we do with such excellence that it is a testimony to others. With this, we will leave that cloud of witnesses that we have around us, not knowing what to think.

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, I adore and exalt you because you have loved me first and have freed me from the chains that oppressed me. I ask you in the Name of Jesus Christ that you put in me the will to do in the same way that Jesus of Nazareth did.

Those people surround us, beginning the list with our relatives, then with those we study or work with. Of course, we cannot ignore the people who congregate with us. To this list, we can add our neighbours, and the rest of the people who live in our same city and, of course, in our countries. Thus we reach the last human beings in the most remote part of the world. Today, I am very aware of the need for a good testimony, therefore, I try that everything I do, obviously including what I post on social networks, to glorify the Name of God through my good testimony.

 

“THE PEOPLE GATHERED UPON HEARING THAT NOISE, AND DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO THINK, BECAUSE EACH ONE HEARED THE BELIEVERS SPEAKING IN HIS OWN LANGUAGE.”

Acts 2.6

Let us pray together: Beloved Father, I am aware that I am only a vessel that you use. I wish in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth to do it in such a way that all the people around me approach you and declare you the only God.

Yes, all our deeds will be judged by all those around us. We must understand with total clarity that in many cases, each of us will be the Bible they will read. Therefore, if we only demonstrate a wrathful, malevolent, and spiteful god, that is what they will see for our incorrect actions. However, if we demonstrate God's love, Heavenly Father's mercy, and the grace we obtained from Jesus Christ, it will be because our actions reflect it. Let us be of light and not of darkness for others. Let us be agents of peace and justice because the Holy Spirit is the one who guides our thoughts through the Mind of Christ that already acts in each one of us.
