THE PREPARATIONS

Being ready is the key to success.

THE words God used for my calling still ring in my head. These words, at first, were almost incomprehensible to me, simply because God told me: "Prepare yourself for the work that you are going to do in my Name." And it is that being prepared is key to succeeding in everything we undertake in our lives. Let's consider for a moment a surgery and the minimum that all the professionals who are going to be in it have to do. Which, I will present only three preparation steps for it: 1-Disinfect your hands and put on sterile clothing. 2- Wash and disinfect the operating field. 3- Cover the operating field with sterile cloths. If even one of these points fails, the results for patients are honestly terrible. If this prudence in the pre-operative preparation is strict, we can calculate how much we should be prepared to care for the soul of the human being so in need of the Highest God? This state of preparation is incalculable. However, we have the great advantage that we have the Spirit of God who acts in each one of us.

"WHEN THE FEAST OF PENTECOST ARRIVED, ALL THE BELIEVERS WERE GATHERED IN ONE PLACE."

Acts 2.1

Let us pray together: Father God, it is a point of hope to know that the Spirit acts in me because honestly, I am not qualified to carry out your work. I am more confident that you will give me everything I need to extend the Kingdom of your Son Jesus Christ here on Earth with all humanity.

The Apostles were waiting for the fulfillment of the promise given by Jesus of Nazareth before departing for heaven when he declared: but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. For this, the disciples had to be prepared. One of those preparations was unity in the same feeling and spirit. These days, he was talking with a friend about the Biblical expression of not being unequally yoked. We both agree that it is not only about having the same God but that both people have to be really united, have the same spirit, and feel about things. If things are not like that, there is usually unnecessary friction and friction, because each one will shoot for their own convenience, as is to be expected.

“SUDDENLY, A GREAT NOISE COMING FROM HEAVEN, LIKE A STRONG WIND, RESONATED THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE WHERE THEY WERE.”

Acts 2.2

Let us pray together: My God, you know my heart and I want to hear your roar every day of my life. I fervently long for the manifestation of the baptism of the Holy Spirit in me and be your faithful witness in all humanity.

How the Holy Spirit will be presented and manifested to us will depend entirely on him. In other words, there is not, it does not exist and it cannot be determined what that procedure of the Holy Spirit will be like. Because he has the absolute sovereignty to do it how he pleases. However, for human beings, it is determined that we have an urgent need to be prepared for this magnificent act of God's sovereignty. My invitation is that we are really prepared to receive the Holy Spirit of God and manifest each of the Gifts and Fruits that he will exclusively give us.
