It is not only about the goods that we have, it is about the feeling with which we give.

HOLISTICALLY treating human beings will make us feel empathy towards our fellow men. The problem of duality, the soul body, makes us believe that we should only help a part of the living being. However, understanding that the human being is an integral being will help us solve the human being in its entirety. This will lead us to the consideration of what really is the problem that our brother has. Likewise, this will lead us to provide a possible solution to his problem. Let me explain, everyone has to find a way to resolve their issues, in the same way, sometimes a financial donation comes in handy, in other cases, a brotherly hug is part of the solution. Patch Adams found that the smile was a promising therapy in certain hospital cases, thus helping hundreds of patients to heal and/or have a dignified death. Therefore, in many cases, we will not have to give gold or silver to our people to solve their problems. What we have to do is be aware of providing love, understanding, companionship and empathy to all the people around us.

Let us pray together: Dear God, today I look up to you, but not to receive something from you. In any case, I raise my gaze to recognise that without you I am nothing, I do it with an attitude of humility before your greatness, therefore, I look at the sky, because I know that you will respond at the right time.

This human being is waiting to receive a handout because he is used to it. His family used his misfortune to make him a source of money. However, this was not the problem this human being had. This individual needed to know the living God that he heard every day (remember that he is begging at the door of the Temple) from the corner where he asked for money. But, within divine causality, this living being would have to be healed holistically, that is, his body would be healed as well as his soul, and healing would also come.

“I DO NOT HAVE SILVER OR GOLD,” PEDRO DECLARED, BUT WHAT I HAVE I GIVE YOU. IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, RISE UP AND WALK!"

Let us pray together: My God, what a great power there is in the Name of Jesus Christ, for he is my saviour and redeemer. Therefore, now all my prayers are decreed in the powerful Name of Jesus of Nazareth.

Neither silver nor gold, power and authority in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth. Oh if we will be able to understand what great power is contained in the holy and precious name of Jesus Christ! And if we understood it, surely, our whole life would change and we would reach the stature of Christ to extend the Kingdom of Heaven, bringing the Good News of Salvation guided by the Holy Spirit to all humanity.
