WILL BE BLESSED

It is time to break all false expectations.

THERE are no people more liars than Christians when they are praising God. There are no more naive and innocent people than Christians in the face of false expectations. And it is that, as a preacher or orator, verbiage and bombast will be the perfect allies to transmit the gospel of the gospel of Christ. The danger is when you want to learn to be a good speaker, you learn bad habits, however, the worst of all is creating false expectations by stating that because it is in the Bible, God must imperatively fulfil it. One of those false expectations created has been the blessing from God. It is taught from the pulpits that blessings are both physical and spiritual and this is so, but these are the mere consequences of living as Christians. Because, when we can understand what it really means: that their hearts may be comforted, united in love, until they reach all the riches of full understanding, in order to know the mystery of God the Father, and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, 2 Col. 2-3, one would stop scratching the surface in order to understand what Jesus said when he declared: But seek the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you, Lc. 12-31.

"YOU, THEREFORE, ARE HEIRS OF THE PROPHETS AND OF THE COVENANT THAT GOD ESTABLISHED WITH OUR ANCESTORS WHEN SAYING TO ABRAHAM: THROUGH YOUR DESCENDANTS ALL THE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD WILL BE BLESSED."

Acts 3, 25

Let us pray together: Father God, the greatest blessing is to have your presence. Therefore, the rest of the things are mere additions, well, you are everything I need for my life. My God, I only need you.

The greatest blessing that any human being can have in his existence is the very presence of God in him. And this promise was fulfilled when in Hch. 2, 2-4 is narrated: And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, which filled the whole house where they were sitting; and divided tongues appeared to them, as of fire, settling on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them to speak. Therefore, considering that a car, a telephone, a job, and good health, (I am not saying that this is wrong at all) is the blessing of God is, at the very least, underestimating what it really means to be blessed by God.

“WHEN GOD RAISED UP HIS SERVANT FROM HIM, HE SENT HIM FIRST TO YOU TO GIVE YOU THE BLESSING THAT EACH ONE OF YOU RETURNS FROM HIS WICKEDNESS FROM HIM.”

Acts 3, 26

Let us pray together: Jesus of Nazareth, you are faithful and true, worthy of all praise and exaltation. Thank you very much for your blessing, because you have given me your Holy Spirit and from him, I have everything. Therefore, I adore you and proclaim among the nations. Amen

Christ is the full blessing that God has already given us. Honestly, we shouldn't wait any longer. However, God is faithful to his own promises and therefore, he provides us with everything. Perhaps this was the reason why Jesus Christ taught us: After this manner, therefore, pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom comes. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for all the centuries. Amen, Mt. 6, 10-13.
